In the website, they say "To improve the speed and quality of decisions the EJ encourages authors to include editors' letters and referee reports from failed submissions at other journals."
I have a theory paper rejected at JET about a year ago with two reports. One referee gave me the R&R with good comments and the other rejected. Since then, I have revised it substantially.
I have two questions. First, when I submit my paper to EJ, is it better to attach those reports? Second, if so, does it help to shorten the review period?

I am refereeing an empirical paper from uvlrm authors for a uvlrm journal. I am a grad student and this is one of the first referee reports I was asked to do, so I put in quite some effort in the first round. I made a lot of suggestions on how to improve the paper.
Now I got a revised version and the responses from authors. Their answer to most of my points is "We are so grateful for your comment. We have decided we like X better" or "We don't think X is a problem" without giving any specifics, let alone any valid points for why they like it better or think it is not a problem.
What to do in this case?

The level of ignorance exhibited by this reviewer is unbelievable. This bozo has no idea what he is talking about. He should have refused to do the review and deferred to somebody who knows the area. His comments and questions were at about the level of a mediocre first-year graduate student.
He might as well have suggested that I add log(NAICS). I'm insulted by the prospect that my work is judged by such morons.
