How long should a paper be? At my LRM, I've heard that if a paper is too long, editors or referees will just try to reject directly, because they don't want to spend too much time reading an LRM paper. So then how long is too long?
I have a half theory half empirical paper for example. Its 25 pages without reference. So far no appendix. Would you consider that too long for a first submission?
