When you look me up on Google, instead of using my LRMness and record of zero publications as motivation to reject, think of how you could help me to be part of the community by being the first to take an interest and help me achieve the best from my efforts. Don't just look for reasons to support your ex ante decision to reject on my lack of reputation alone. Look for ways the paper could be improved and be the one to help guide me there through round(s) of revision. Be the better person. Be the guide. The wise elder. Pay it forward so I can do the same.
